With the center’s ambition to anchor all its trainings to the Industrial Revolution and with its aim to model environment friendly technologies through Green TVET, TESDA-RTC I proudly presents its Solar Powered Irrigation System (SPIS) with the goals that this technology be replicated by its stakeholders. It is a PLC-BMS controlled solar-powered irrigation system developed through collaborative efforts of TESDA Scholars in PV Systems Installation, Organic Agriculture, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Masonry and Shielded Metal Arc Welding. This project was completed on the first quarter of 2023 under the supervision and lead of Mr. Jovencio F. Panida, Lead Trainer in PVSI and EIM qualifications. This is the second Green TVET project after last year’s Solar Powered Traffic Light System whom was personally inaugaurated by our Former Secretary Isidro S. Lapeña.
